I'm starting to notice a pattern here Reader.

The last time I wrote our Creative Check-in email it started with this sentence:

I'm not entirely sure how I'm writing to you as I have sleep right on top of my eyes. You know what I mean? When you're sitting at your desk, trying to work but you really just need a nap? Yeah...

The same is true today except I feel even sleepier and I've actually got a nap planned already!

But I wanted to check in with you again, like I do with my Creative Lab members. I check in with them on a call every Monday and these have become some of my favorite calls. In fact, here's what someone said about these calls recently:

1. I'm pasting a screenshot of my latest photos on my phone. I usually take tons of photos throughout the week of what I'm working on, what has happened, or what I'm into.

Ready? Ok, here I go...

This week is pretty simple because as you can see, I've been obsessing.

All of my shots are from a fox I'm sewing. I can't tell you how much I've been enjoying it. I don't even know where that came from as I was supposed to be sewing some totes but here we are. Surprisingly, it hasn't been all that difficult, just tedious. The face was a little nerve-wracking mostly because I didn't want to mess it up.

I learned a few new stitches and how to work with the grain of the fabric which was great and now I'm going to make her a dress. It's all very exciting although I realize probably quite nerdy. 🤓

So because most of this week has been taken up with that, I'll show you what's been going on on the other side of my office. If you don't know it, I share my office with my husband, Patrick, who is also a creative. He's an illustrator and is quite passionate about moon cycles and he just finished updating his 2027 Moon Phases Calendar. This thing is tedious and it takes him quite some time each year.
