Hey Reader!

I'm so glad to have a moment today to catch up!

I've been meaning to write to you and life just keeps lifing. Getting used to living with 3 autoimmune diseases is no picnic and honestly, sometimes I feel bad talking about it because I feel like I'm boring people.

The good news is I'm learning to listen to my body recognizing subtle changes that let me know ahead of time when I'm not going to feel well. That's reason to celebrate because it means I'm starting to get a little more control over my schedule so I can get back to what I love doing.

I'm sure you won't be surprised when I tell you that the main thing I keep coming back to is... creating!

So if you want a little motivation to keep at it, let me share what I've been up to. When I see what others are up to, it always inspires me so I hope this big share does the same for you.

I've been working on my portfolio to pitch to companies. My goal is to get 4-5 finished collections to start sending out emails. Here are 2 finished ones:

Here's one that I'm currently working on. The exciting thing here is that I'm reworking designs from different drawing sessions and tying them into brand new collections. I get to hone into designs I love and put them together in new colorways.

This has been such a fun way to work! I'm especially enjoying coming up with hero and spot illustrations for these so I can get them ready to pitch.

Other ways creativity has taken shape for me include new drawing techniques (vectorizing Procreate illustrations), sticker-making, baking, and sewing.

Any excuse to try something new and make something is fine by me.
